No foul play in death

RCMP say they have ruled out foul play in relation to the death of a Penticton woman this week.

The 57 year old woman was found to have died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency crews performed CPR on Edmond at her home in the 400 block of Winnipeg Street, but she didn't survive.

Mounties say an autopsy was performed on Friday in Penticton. The cause of death has been declared a suicide.
