Three Kelowna Rockets have been picked up in the NHL Draft.

Defenseman Tyson Barrie is heading to Colorado after being scooped up in a third round pick.  Left Winger Evan Bloodoff goes to Phoenix in the sixth round, picked 157th overall.  Right Winger Mitchell Callahan picked up by Detroit Red Wings in the sixth round, 180th overall.

Centre Cameron Reid of the Westside Warriors was picked up by Nashville in a seventh round pick.

Vernon Viper Kyle Bigos was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in a fourth round pick, while Right Winger Tyler Shattock of Vernon, currently playing for the Kamloops Blazers goes to St Louis in the fourth round, picked 108th overall. 

Penticton Vee Curtis McKenzie has been picked up by Dallas in a sixth round pick, while Centre Corban Knight of Oliver, currently playing for Okotoks in the Alberta JHL, goes to Florida in the fifth round, 135th pick overall. And Penticton's Curtis Gedig, currently playing defence for Cowichan Valley of the BCJHL, has been selected by New Jersey Devils, 204th overall.
