Retirement Centre Grant

$277,000 has been announced in provincial funding for the Penticton Retirement Centre.  The money will go towards renovating the centre's 124 suites through the Senior's Supportive Housing program.   The program provides funding to modify rental housing developments for low-income seniors and people with disabilities.  It also introduces on-site support systems for tenants, including 24-hour response services, weekly housekeeping and meals.
