Woman in Accident Passes Away

The female passenger involved a motorcycle accident near Hedley has died from her injuries at Kelowna General Hospital.  Mounties say just before seven o'clock Saturday night a Mercedes trying to cross Highway 3 collided with an east-bound motorcycle.  The 48 year old driver of the bike and Okanagan resident was pronounced dead at the scene.  The 20 year old passenger, also from the Okanagan, was transported to hospital in critical condition but later died from her injuries.  The 68 year old Alberta driver of the Mercedes had minor injuries.  No names are being released at this time.   R-C-M-P continue to investigate.
